The Tea On Pink Shirt Day
Pink Shirt Day is coming up and we have been looking at it this week! Pink Shirt Day is on the 16th of October. I have done a google doc with 5 facts about Pink Shirt Day, I even added some colour. Here is my google doc.
The tea of pink shirt day
Pink shirt day was created to stand up for those who get bullied, gay shamed, etc.
It was created by David Shepherd and Travis Price in Canada, 2007.
The people who created it were in year 13 or grade 12 in Canada.
The person who got called rude names, were bullied, etc, was a year 10 student named Chuck Mcneill.
When you participate in pink shirt day, you don’t bully people or be rude because otherwise don’t participate.
I am excited to see who is participating in this years Pink Shirt Day!
