Stand Up, Speak Up, Stop Bullying

This week we have been doing activities around pink shirt day.  In New Zealand it is bullying free week.  What does pink shirt day mean? Well it is when you wear a pink shirt to say " stand up to bullies " .   It is celebrated all over the world on different dates. I think bullying is : 

• It's un-cool
• It's not nice
• it's really rude
• we shouldn't have bullying ANYWHERE!!!
• It can lead to depression or suicide

STOP BULLING.

Prototec

Basic Stage 7 

Today I did prototec on stage 7.   I got 75% on stage 7 in 15 minutes 49 seconds.   Here is my result.

My goal for next time is to do it in 10 minutes and get 80%

Cultural Diversity Day 2019

Cultural Diversity Day

On the 22 May 2019 we had our first ever Cultural Diversity Day.  We had people perform,  my favorite was Linny because she had the confidence to sing in front of the whole school.  Mrs Park dressed in pink because she is Koren.  Here is a couple photos from yesterday on a slide.

My favorite part of the day was Linnys singing.

On Thursday 23 May we did a google drawing about some of the cultures.  I put in New Zealand,  Australia,  South Africa,  China,  England and Koren.  Here is my google drawing.  

My next step is to learn to say my name in chinese.

Steps Web Day: 1

Today in literacy we did steps web for 20 minutes. Last time I got 51 minutes and 41 activities in one week , Here is my screenshot from 3 weeks ( the time we have been back at school )  This week I got 262 minutes and 194 activities.   

My goal for next time is to get 300 minutes in 3 weeks.

In week one, term 2 we did a assessment on classroom objects in Māori. We had to move the objects to the right name, here is my work.

Today we did our expectation, enter and exit the classroom. We had half of Ngakunui in our class because Miss Johnstone was doing something. Anyway we did a google drawing of what we will do to achieve the expectation. Here is my google drawing

Hey Bloggers, I'm back. Today we had a guy called Shawn come in and teach us how to dance because we are going to be performing in the Isaac Theater.  We have done 8 moving today and we learnt to count, dance style.  Here is a photo from lesson 1.
